Abstract

The electrode recognizing metal and organic ions and molecules has an organopolysiloxane-polymer coating, for analysis of fluids such as water. Also claimed is a process for producing the electrode. CLAIMED PROCESS - The process gives a sol-gel based thin continuous film discriminating ion and molecule motion, and a conducting substrate collecting an electric signal. EMBODIMENT - Incorporation of e.g. ionophors facilitates generation of a concrete electrochemical response directly proportional to the ions and molecules.
