Abstract
Ultrasonic detector of broken worn or geometrically deformed rails, which consists of fitting on the rails (1) by conventional means on the base or the core transducers (2) being either piezoelectric, magnetostrictive or the like; they can be placed on both rails with direct listening or independently or optionally combined with echometry in the transmitter/receiver being placed at the same point on both rails or on different rails.<IMAGE>
