PARA LLEVAR A CABO EL METODO, SE SOMETE UNA CORRIENTE DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO LIQUIDO A UNA EXPANSION DE PRESION, PARA PRODUCIR UNA CORRIENTE DE NIEVE Y VAPOR DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO.
