Abstract
Device for obtaining work from fluids at different temperatures.A thermal machine that claims to make use of the many sets of fluids at different temperatures that occur naturally and in industry. It will operate by means of a heat exchange fluid with an evaporation temperature slightly higher than the cold fluid. On placing it in contact with a hot fluid through a thermally conducting wall, it evaporates giving rise to a pressure that can be used to drive a piston or turbine. Then, instead of discharging it to the atmosphere, it is cooled with a cold fluid in the same expansion chamber or turbine and is compressed either by a spring or other similar device working in opposition.
