The air- and water-based cooler for a mold used for glass container manufacture has a set of cooling air bottom circulation channels extending up to the bottom of the cooling air circulation channels (2) of the mould (1). The channels can be a single ring or a double ring of cooling lines. The mould (1) has a virtually cylindrical exterior, and an interior of indeterminate shape.
