Abstract

Vigas curvas y su sistema de empalme, del tipo de las vigas a base de hormigón armado o pretensado configuradas en taller, utilizadas para la construcción de puentes y viaductos de importantes dimensiones, caracterizadas por estar definidas por una planta consistente en un tramo de corona circular y una sección transversal con la forma de una U, cuyos tramos verticales se determinan inclinados hacia fuera, y conllevando en su extremo superior un voladizo orientado hacia adentro, caracterizándose también porque los extremos de la viga son cerrados por paredes verticales opcionalmente sustituibles, las cuales contienen a los oportunos medios de registro y anclaje, que garantizan una perfecta solidarización entre las vigas, mediante la ejecución del pretensado de la junta, usando barras o cables de alta resistencia, habiéndose rellenado previamente el espacio entre vigas con mortero autonivelante.
