Abstract
The system is based on an array of a series of turbines (1) connected to one another by means of the gear assembly defining a crown (4) that is provided in the periphery of each of the turbines (1). All turbines are mounted between the tie rods (10) and are suspended from a common structure (8). The assembly can pivot relative to said structure with the purpose of limiting the power of the system regardless of the intensity of the wind. Transmission of rotation of the assembly of turbines(1) can be concentrated in a single generator (7) or groups can be formed. Each of said groups or several groups can simultaneously act upon one or more generators. The system also has deflecting screens (12) to adequately orient the wind and to enable maximum system performance. The turbines can be mechanically independent and each turbine can have a generator electrically connected to the other generators.
