EL GGI SE REPRESENTA POR LA SUMA DEL VALOR M(K - 1) MULTIPLICADO POR LA CONCENTRACION PARA CADA ELEMENTO DE LA ALEACION DE ALUMINIO. SI EL VALOR DE CIERTA ALEACION SE COMPARA CON LAS RELACIONES CONOCIDAS ENTRE EL VALOR M(K - 1) Y EL TAMAÑO DE GRANO, SE CORRIGE LA COMPOSICION DE LA ALEACION FUNDIDA PARA OBTENER UN TAMAÑO OPTIMO DEL GRANO AÑADIENDO UN COMPUESTO QUE ALTERE ESTE TAMAÑO DE GRANO. EL PROCEDIMIENTO SE PUEDE MEJORAR OPTIMIZANDO LA CANTIDAD DE COMPUESTO NUCLEANTE.
