Abstract
The desalination technique for sea water comprises removal of the air (2) from the entering water (1), which then goes to freezer (A). A pump (M) takes the water to a tank (T) where an evaporator-compressor (C) yields high-pressure high-temperature water vapour going to a catheter (D). The heat for evaporation is taken from the salt solution, and the non-frozen water (4) goes to freezer (A). The collected water vapour melts the ice, which results in water output (6), with final reverse-osmosis-based desalination.
