Abstract

Self-regulating thermal stamp for marking. It consists of a thermal stamp for marking thermally, characterised because the operating temperature is generated and self-regulated using an electrical resistance of the type known as Positive Temperature Coefficient, without the necessity of employing either thermal flip-flops or thermostats. ,incorporated or external, or other types of temperature regulating elements. This type of electrical resistance is characterised by increasing its electrical resistance with the increase in the temperature, up to a maximum temperature at which no intensity circulates. From the same Positive Temperature Coefficient different operating temperatures of the thermal stamp are obtained, varying the adjustment between the resistance and its housing, placing calibrated strips of different thicknesses between the resistance and its housing. All this allows a very compact design of the thermal stamp, with reduced dimensions, self-regulating and autonomous insofar as the regulation of temperature is concerned since it does not depend on external elements for regulating the temperature.
