Abstract

Mecanismo de reserva variable de radiocanales para los sistemas de comunicaciones móviles GSM. Consiste en un mecanismo de reserva de canales variable para sistemas de comunicaciones (voz y datos) móviles, donde el número de canales a reservar depende de la calidad del canal de comunicaciones representado por las medidas tomadas tanto en el canal de subida como en el de bajada. A efectos prácticos se establece un límite máximo en el número de canales a reservar. Para realizar la implementación del mecanismo se fijan unos umbrales de nivel de señal recibido (potencia) y de calidad de la señal (tasa de errores) para decidir la realización de la reserva de canal en la estación base que disponga de canales y reciba al terminal móvil con una mejor calidad.
