Abstract

A scanner is movably coupled to a base subassembly that includes a linear bearing extending from top to bottom at one end and a jacking cylinder at the other. The scanner subassembly includes a mounting member coupled to the linear bearing and a rotating member pivotally coupled to the mounting plate. An elongate radial bearing is coupled to the mounting plate and a carriage assembly fitted with a scanner arm parallel to the radial bearing and an inspection probe.
