Abstract

Method for sterilising fluids using laser radiation, which is characterised by the fact that it is a direct sterilisation method for natural samples (food and water) as well as for manufactured products, using an Nd:Yag laser or any other laser which provides the same conditions. The sample to be treated does not require any special preparation with this method and does not need any oxidising chemical treatments, being free of micro-organisms at the end of the process.< IMAGE >Water and food, together with manufactured products are sterilized by direct radiation of ultraviolet light from a Nd.Yag laser (RTM) or any other laser providing the same conditions. The sample to be treated requires no type of specific preparation or to be subjected to oxidant chemical treatment. After treatment it is free of micro organisms.
