Abstract
Chicle para la higiene bucal y goma base para el mismo. Se describe una composición de goma base para chicle que comprende una mezcla íntima de elastómero y sílice abrasiva, en la que la sílice abrasiva tiene un promedio de tamaño de partícula comprendido entre aproximadamente 1 y aproximadamente 80 micras. Dicha composición de goma base para chicle es útil para la fabricación de una composición de chicle que comprende: i) de aproximadamente 15% a aproximadamente 80% de la mencionada goma base; y ii) de aproximadamente 85% a aproximadamente 20% de una composición de aditivos para chicle que comprende uno o más compuestos organolépticos. El chicle así obtenido posee buenas propiedades de eliminación de la placa y agradable sensación bucal.Chewing gum for oral hygiene and gum base for it. A gum base gum composition is described comprising an intimate blend of elastomer and abrasive silica, in which the abrasive silica has an average particle size of between about 1 and about 80 microns. Said gum base gum composition is useful for manufacturing a chewing gum composition comprising: i) from about 15% to about 80% of said gum base; and ii) from about 85% to about 20% of a chewing gum additive composition comprising one or more organoleptic compounds. The gum thus obtained has good plaque removal properties and a pleasant mouthfeel.
