LA ANTORCHA DE VAPOR/PLASMA DE ARCO ELECTRICO TIENE UN ALOJAMIENTO QUE ACOMODA COAXIALMENTE DISPUESTOS EN EL MISMO UN ANODO DE BOQUILLA Y UN CATODO HECHO DE FORMA RAPIDA EN UN DISPOSITIVO DE SUJECION. EL ALOJAMIENTO COMUNICA, POR MEDIO DE UN CONECTOR DE TUBO LLENO CON UN MATERIAL POROSO CONDUCTOR DEL CALOR, CON UN CONTENEDOR. EL CONTENEDOR ESTA LLENO CON UN MATERIAL ABSORBENTE DE LA HUMEDAD QUE CIRCUNDA UN TUBO QUE CORRE A TRAVES DEL MISMO Y ESTA HECHO DE UN MATERIAL CONDUCTOR DEL CALOR. EL TUBO TIENE UNA PESTAÑA EN SU EXTREMO QUE MIRA HACIA EL ANODO DE LA BOQUILLA. LA PESTAÑA ESTA PROVISTA DE CONDUCTOS SOBRE SU SUPERFICIE DEL EXTREMO QUE MIRA HACIA EL ANODO DE LA BOQUILLA. EL DISPOSITIVO DE SUJECION DEL CATODO SE ACOMODA EN EL TUBO Y ESTA ELECTRICAMENTE AISLADO DEL MISMO. UN MANGUITO HECHO DE MATERIAL CONDUCTOR DEL CALOR SE INTERPONE ENTRE EL ANODO DE LA BOQUILLA Y LA PESTAÑA DEL TUBO. EL MANGUITO TIENE CONDUCTOS SOBRE SU SUPERFICIE CILINDRICA EXTERIOR Y SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE QUE ESTA EN CONTACTO CON EL ANODO DE LA BOQUILLA. EL VAPOR RESULTANTE DEL FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LA ANTORCHA, SE ADMITE, A TRAVES DE LOS CONDUCTOS ANTES MENCIONADOS, HACIA EL CATODO Y EL ANODO DE LA BOQUILLA, RESPECTIVAMENTE, LOS ENFRIA Y ESTABILIZA LA COLUMNA DEL ARCO CONSTRIÑIENDO ESTA ULTIMA.
