Abstract

Pseudomonas putida JLR11, bacteria que utiliza 2, 4, 6-trinitrotolueno (TNT), y su empleo en la eliminación biológica de TNT. Pseudomonas putida JLR11 es una bacteria capaz da utilizar TNT como fuente de C, o como fuente de N, o como fuente da C y N, en condiciones anaeróbicas. La eliminación biológica del TNT comprende poner en contacto las aguas, efluentes y suelos a tratar con un cultivo de dicha bacteria. Este procedimiento es adecuado para eliminar biológicamente el TNT contenido en aguas residuales, efluentes industriales y suelos contaminados, así como para destruir los excedentes de TNT.
