Abstract

The present invention consists of an apparatus which is placed around a person with very little or no control over his or her body and which supports said person seated on the toilet bowl without the need for any assistance. Said apparatus consists of a central component in the form of an inverted U 1 and two side components, also in the form of a U, 2, which are placed around the patient. The side components are joined to the central component by means of hinges 3 and the side components are joined together by means of a strap 4. The side components also each consist of a leg which can be unfolded, to prevent the apparatus 5 sliding or overturning, and also have horizontal projections or grooves 6 on the inner side (towards the patient), which prevent the sliding of the pillows (pads) 7 by means of which the patient is accommodated in the apparatus.
