Abstract

The process comprises a support profile 1 made from non- noble material, which has the form of a metallic band and which has, on one face, at least one longitudinal rib or protuberance 11 placed at a pre-set distance with an edge. On the opposite planar face is a sheet 2 of noble metal, the length of which is sufficient to allow at least a partial rolling around the edges of the support profile 1. The assembly is therefore subjected to plastic deformation treatments which cause folding, in order to obtain a bimetallic tubular element inside which the metal for welding will be inserted. Successive drawing operations will make it possible to produce the tubular element with the pre-established dimensions and forms.
