Abstract

El Podómetro Electrónico, está basado en sensores piezoresistivos para el cálculo de las presiones plantaras. La matriz utilizada consta de 2048 elementos, con una superficie por elemento de 0.25 cm{sup,2 , proporcionando doble resolución espacial que las actuales. Permite conocer en cualquier punto de la huella plantar el valor de la presión existente. Muestra, practicando una sección en el antepie a nivel de la cabeza de los metatarsianos, la distribución de presiones correspondiente a cada zona metatarsal, siendo posible detectar la patología de sobrecarga por hiperapoyo de los metatarsianos. La captura y representación de datos puede realizarse con cualquier IBM PC o compatible dotado de un puerto serie o paralelo. El entorno está programado par funcionar en Microsoft Windows, o superiores, que hace su manejo sencillo, permitiendo su empleo como podoscopio electrónico y/o plataforma de fuerza para estudio de huella plantar y distribución de la carga plantar estática.The Electronic Pedometer is based on piezoresistive sensors for calculating plant pressures.
