Abstract

Process for inserting DNA into precious stones. Process for inserting DNA into precious stones with the object of hiding imperfections in them, in that the precious stone previously "cleaned" by a chemical process is placed in a solution containing the (dissolved) DNA so that the solution penetrates the pores of the stone (for which DNA has affinity) followed by selective precipitation of the DNA which is implanted in the solid, finally resealing the stone with olive oil to develop its original colour and texture.
