Abstract

Improvements to the manufacture of transparent pieces of plastic material with incorporated internal decoration, made from polycarbonate, methacrylate or PET, manufactured by injection and consisting of two transparent half-parts between which a sheet decorated on one or both sides is inserted, the next stage being to join the two half-parts together by means of ultrasonic welding, which dissolves the base plastic material, adhesive or glue. For this purpose, one of the half-pieces has, in its base, in contact with the opposite half-piece, a circumferential channel, close to the periphery, in which the solvent is introduced, if this method is used, which complements a projection of somewhat smaller dimensions located in an identical position on the opposite half-piece, it being possible for these pieces to be used as they are or to have other elements incorporated into them (adhesive or magnetic zones, fastening spikes, connections to other devices, etc.). All the aforesaid always in accordance with the principles of the invention.
