UN CONCENTRADOR OPTICO DISEÑADO POR EL METODO DE TRAMOS Y CARACTERIZADO POR TRANSFERIR LA RADIACION (EN GENERAL LUMINOSA E INCOHERENTE) DE UNA FUENTE NO PUNTUAL HACIA UN RECEPTOR, DE FORMA TAL QUE UNA GRAN PARTE (ENTRE EL 85% Y EL 100%) DE LA RADIACION PROCEDENTE DE LA FUENTE E INTERCEPTADA POR EL CONCENTRADOR ES DIRIGIDA HACIA EL RECEPTOR, PUDIENDO SER ESTE DEL MINIMO TAMAÑO POSIBLE O, LO QUE ES LO MISMO, LA TRANSFERENCIA DE LA RADIACION HACIA EL RECEPTOR PUEDE HACERSE DE FORMA QUE LA IRRADIANCIA MEDIA SOBRE EL RECEPTOR SEA MUY PROXIMA A LA MAXIMA TEORICAMENTE POSIBLE.
