Abstract

Control circuit for a flat cathode ray tube. This controls a flat picture tube 2 without the numerous adjustments necessary in conventional circuits. It is specially designed for video entry-phones, being also able to be used for other flat tube applications. The circuit 1 has ten blocks of which only a video block 3 and a converter block 4 are conventional. The video block 3 is connected to a synchronization block 6, which in turn is connected to a horizontal block 7 and to a vertical block 8, which are connected to a trapezium block 9, to some external deflecting coils 11 and to a blanking block 10, which is connected to an activation block 12 that enables or inhibits a power supply block 13 according to whether or not a calling signal is received, causing the tube 2 to be switched off without flashing. In addition, it has a focus block 17 specially adapted to the requirements of the flat tube 2.
