Abstract

Tie which can be placed in a use position around the neck of a shirt having buttons in such a manner that it comprises a front section 2, which hangs at the front, a middle section which surrounds the neck of the shirt and a rear section 6 which is covered at least partially by the front section 2. The tie incorporates first means 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 which, in the position of use of the tie, maintain a constant relative position between the rear section 6 and the front section 2, and second means 12, 18 which fasten the tie to a shirt button. These means preferably consist of a succession of eyelet holes 12 made in the rear section 6 or in a tape 16 joined to the front section 2.
