Abstract

One at a time dispensing apparatus comprises a plurality of horizontally spaced storage means 10, escapement means to release articles sequentially from each of said storage means 10 into one of a plurality of horizontal spaced and aligned release positions, traversing means 24 movable through said release positions from one end to the other and having means 26 to collect and transport an article to one of said ends, lift means 31 movable upwardly to lift an article from said one of said ends to dispensing means, and control means adapted to ensure sequential operation of said escapement means, traversing means and lift means.
