Panel aislante fibroso, caracterizado porque comprende un alma de lana de roca preferentemente de baja densidad emparedada entre dos láminas rígidas a modo de cubiertas, estanco formada dicha alma de múltiples capas de la citada lana de roca colocadas de tal forma que todas sus fibras queden orientadas en sentido perpendicular a dichas láminas con objeto de adquirir resistencia a la compresión de constituir s un aislamiento térmico y acústico de naturaleza incombustible.
