Abstract

Marking takes place by means of the focusing of a laser ray beam 3, preferably of the Nd-YAG (Neodimion-Yttrium Aluminium Garnet) type, with a power of between 25 and 400 watts, inside said piece 1, displacement of said laser ray beam 3 being controlled by control means which comprise a computer for implementing any program designed in the piece and at least one galvanometer or a table of coordinates for determining the position. The laser ray beam 3 is focused by means of an optical system 2 which comprises a lens having a focal distance of between 110 and 130 millimetres.
