Abstract
Flexible hinge for spectacles. The side-pieces of the spectacles both include oblong boxes that slide over an axial core with a rear head and linked at the front to the corresponding rear half-hinge, whose axial core bears a threaded spring that pushes the said box forward. It is characterized by the fact that the sliding coupling of the box on the axial core, bearing the spring, is implemented by means of a tongue that obliquely fits into a slot made in the hollow of the box, which tongue forms part of an oblique rear edge socket that rests against a ring, while on its front edge the socket rests against the oblique rear face of the back half-hinge, the socket and the ring being inserted on the axial core, and the ring receiving the direct action of the spring.
