SE BASA EN LA ACTUACION DE UN ELECTROIMAN SOBRE UNA PLACA CORREDERA PERFORADA (13), QUE LIBERA AL SER ACTIVADO AQUEL UN GRANULO DE ALIMENTO DE UN PESO CONOCIDO. LA ACTIVACION DEL DISPENSADOR ESTA MEDIADA A TRAVES DE UN TEMPORIZADOR (7) QUE TRAS LA DEMANDA DE ALIMENTO POR EL PEZ, GENERA UN PULSO DE CORRIENTE ELECTRICA DURANTE UN TIEMPO SUFICIENTE PARA ACTIVACION DEL DISPENSADOR (8). LA DEMANDA DE ALIMENTO SE REALIZA A TRAVES DE UN CONTACTO ELECTRICO DETERMINADO POR UNA VARILLA (1) RELACIONADA CON UN ARO (3). MEDIANTE LA INCORPORACION DE UN RELOJ PROGRAMABLE (17) EL SISTEMA PUEDE SER UTILIZADO PARA LA ALIMENTACION AUTOMATICA SIN NECESIDAD DE QUE EL PEZ DEMANDE EL ALIMENTO.
