Abstract

Cabling machine for running optical fibres, cables or the like with an undulating oscillating run around a smooth tension reliever or in oscillating, undulating channels stretched around a tension reliever. The machine is characterized by an S/Z bench 6 that includes an alignment mechanism 13 that is held around the tension reliever 2 and guides it and a motor 15 that imparts a rotational, oscillating movement to the alignment mechanism via a transmission 14. The laying tube 11 is fixed or connected to the transmission 14, which imparts an oscillatory, rotational movement to the laying tube in a direction opposite to that of the alignment mechanism 13. A sensor 17 is connected to the transmission 14 and controls the rotational movement of the motor 15 and with it, that of the laying tube in layers 11 and/or that of the alignment mechanism 13 in which the rotational movement of the laying tube is restricted in such a way that the fibre(s) will only be wound on the laying tube 11 to a small extent.
