Abstract
Un aparato de corte por abrasivo en aire el cual incluye un elemento portante del abrasivo en forma alargada flexible y filiforme, así como medios para montar los extremos opuestos de dicho elemento en un mecanismo el cual permite el movimiento alterno relativo que se establece entre el bloque de material al ser cortado y el elemento portante, en el sentido longitudinal de este, de tal forma que compense en las variaciones del ángulo de ataque del elemento portan te con respecto a dicho bloque, en los ángulos de entrada y salida de dicho elemento, siendo tales variaciones causadas por el movimiento alterno relativo cuando el elemento portante se arquea bajo la presión de corte.
