Abstract

Process for obtaining oil from olive oil pulp. The process is characterized in that in a first phase the pulp is subjected to a prior process for separating the pips and the pulp. Once the pulps have been separated these are subjected to a laceration and thermal beating process to effect separation between the phases using an appropriate system with recovery of by-products for various uses. The process is used for obtaining oil from olive oil pulp, with better quality and in better yield, and for recovering by-products such as additives for animal feedstuffs and composite feedstuffs, special carbons, fillers for plastics and paints, furfural, abrasives and others.
