Un montaje multiplicador de tensión para producir una alta tensión continua valiéndose de unos rectificadores de selenio en forma de varilla y unos condensadores conecta dos a los terminales de c.c. y a los terminales de c.a., combinado de modo que cada uno forme un componente, caracteriza do porque los rectificadores (1-5) se disponen en un plano, con sus ejes longitudinales formando ángulo entre sí y porque los condensadores combinados para formar un arrollamiento de condensador (6, 7) van dispuestos en un plano paralelo al de los rectificadores y transversalmente respecto a estos.
