Abstract

Vertical tubular hydroelectric power station. Vertical tubular hydroelectric power station constituted by two tubes of equal diameter, arranged in a vertical concentric position, the upper tube being partially sheathed at its lower part, in a widening existing in the upper part of the second tube. Each tube is provided internally with a propeller fixed to the internal walls, which same are mounted in a conflicting position whilst both tubes respectively have three peripheral annular brackets, provided internally with hemispherical cups in which are located bearing balls which rest on a half-round circular rail, effected in the same number of rings which rest on brackets existing on support turrets. At the widening, the upper tube has permanent magnets facing corresponding solenoid coils housed in the widening. This assembly, magnets and coils, make up the electric generator of the power station, completed by the three metal turrets which constitute the supporting structure for the same. <IMAGE>
