Abstract

The vane cell pump is designed for damping of noise. The inner walls of the recesses (12 to 17a) and the connection pieces (18, 19) have a strong and irregularly structured surface. Transition areas (20) of circular cross section are provided in the lift ring (2) between the recesses (15, 16) of the baseplate (1) and the recesses (12, 13) of the lift ring, the dia. and spacing of which are tuned to the wave length of a measured interference frequency. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improves considerably on existing measures for redn. of noise in vane pumps.
