A SIGNAL TRANSFER SET (14) IS ASSOCIATED IN SEALING WITH THE NEAR END OF THE FIRST RING SLEEVE. A SECOND ELECTRICAL CONDUCTOR (46) PASSES THROUGH THE SIGNAL TRANSFER ASSEMBLY (14) TO ITS ELECTRICAL CONNECTION WITH THE FIRST ELECTRICAL CONDUCTOR (16). THE PROBE HAS THE CAPABILITY TO SUPPORT POWERFUL HIGH TEMPERATURE RADIATION FIELDS, HIGH PRESSURE WATER, AND CONSTRUCTION FEATURES THAT PREVENT ANY LEAK FROM THE RADIOACTIVE ENVIRONMENT, WHICH CONTACTS THE SENSOR.
