EN ESTA ANTENA SE ASOCIAN CONVERTIDORES DE MODO PARCIAL (2) A DICHA FUENTE (1), QUE SE ENCUENTRAN CONCEBIDOS PARA RECIBIR DE LA FUENTE UN MODO TM,N QUE PODRIA SER TEM,N O TMM,N Y PARA PROPORCIONAR UNA COMBINACION DE MODOS, INCLUIDO EL MODO TM,N, CON UNA PROPORCION RELATIVA DE POTENCIA DEL 70 AL 85% Y EN UNA FASE RELATIVA 0, Y AL MENOS UNO DE LOS SIGUIENTES MODOS ADICIONALES, PRINCIPALMENTE TM,N-1 A UNA PROPORCION RELATIVA DEL 10 AL 20% Y UNA FASE RELATIVA PI, Y TE TEM,N+1 A UNA PROPORCION DE POTENCIA RELATIVA DEL 10 AL 20% Y A UNA FASE RELATIVA PI, PUDIENDOSE APLICAR DICHA COMBINACION A UN REFLECTOR DE COLIMACION (3), CUYO PUNTO DE CONCENTRACION (5) CONSTITUYE LA SALIDA DEL SISTEMA DE ANTENA.
