DEBIDO A QUE EL CAMBIO DE LOS CATALIZADORES DENOX ES MUY COSTOSO, CONDUCE A UNA DESCONEXION PROVISIONAL DE LA INSTALACION DE COMBUSTION Y ADEMAS SE FORMAN SUSTANCIAS NOCIVAS QUE HAY QUE EVACUAR, SE HA DE PROLONGAR LA DURACION DE LOS CATALIZADORES DENOX. 2.2 PARA ELLO, LA INVENCION PREVE QUE SE DEPOSITE UN COMPUESTO DE MOLIBDENO-OXIGENO (14, 90) O SUS COMPUESTOS PRECURSORES SOBRE LOS CATALIZADORES DENOX USADOS. ESTO PUEDE TENER LUGAR MEDIANTE LA PULVERIZACION DE POLVO QUE CONTIENE OXIDO DE MOLIBDENO EN EL CANAL DE GAS DE HUMO POR ENCIMA DE LOS CATALIZADORES DENOX O MEDIANTE DEPOSICION DE SUPERFICIES CON CONTENIDO DE OXIDO DE MOLIBDENO EN EL CANAL DE GAS DE HUMO POR ENCIMA DE LOS CATALIZADORES DENOX. 2.3 LA INVENCION SE PUEDE APLICAR EN TODAS LAS INSTALACIONES DE COMBUSTION.
