Abstract

In a method the ungerminated seeds are filled into a container (1) from which they are transported into a seeding device (2) which sows the correct amount of seed on to each conveyor belt, by regulated opening and closing of hatches (10). Each of the conveyor belts is cyclically watered at temperatures changing in relation to the needs of the germination stage, and a pyrometer constantly measures the soil temperature. The water and water temperature are regulated appropriately. USE/ADVANTAGE - For automated cultivation of hydro-cultures using conveyor belts. The atomation is so improved that the system can practically function without skilled workers.
