Abstract

The cassette includes a pivotable, spring-closed dust door 30 including a pair of integrally-formed projections 44, 46 which extend, when the dust door is closed, through openings 52, 54 formed in a front edge of the cassette cover 14 and engage teeth 56 formed on the upper flanges of the tape reels 16, 18 to prevent tape despooling.
