Abstract
Subscriber equipment for connection to switched packet network, consisting in the harmonious application of a microprocessor, communication lines, memory block, DMA and interruption controller, interfaces for printer, diskettes, keyboard and display as support for a specific modular software, being connected to the switched packet network in multilink fashion and having a structure defined on the basis of various combinations of an X.25 unit, a switching unit, and a private subscriber unit, these being independent, and having a modular context of great flexibility that is configured as a local concentrator and switch for X.25, asynchronous and HDLC- MRN terminals.
