Abstract
A mop squeezer 10 to be placed on the edge of a small boiler (copper) or the like includes a body 11 which has a front wall 14. A pressure plate 30 is connected pivotably to the body 11. The inner surface of the front wall 14 has passages 15 and the outer surface of the front wall 14 is formed with a downwardly projecting lip to define additional passages 15 under the passages 15. A rotary arm 41 carries a linkage mechanism which is connected to the pressure plate 30 to evacuate water from a squeezer located between the plate 30 and the front wall 14. The water passes via the passages 15 and is directed downwards in the small boiler through the passages 15 by contact with the down-turned projecting lip.
