Abstract

Door posts and lintel of a doorway as well as the frame of the door itself are formed from hollow sections which are so shaped that they can be clipped together. The first hollow section (1) has a basic rectangular form (3) with a step (5) with a flat surface (6) formed in one corner and with ribs (19) extending in opposite directions from the two short sides. The second hollow section (2) has a basic rectangular form (10) with ribs (13) extending in opposite directions from the two short sides. The ends of the ribs (19,13) of both sections (1,2) have rounded corners (21,15) of equal radii. A third hollow section (16) has a basic square cross-section and can be fastened to the first hollow section (1) to form a means for supporting a pane of glass.
