Abstract

Main hopper means for delivering the material from said extremity of the main hopper to said auxiliary hopper having said auxiliary hopper a discharge hole in its curved bottom a strip of flexible sheet located operatively in contact with the entire curved part of the bottom surface of said auxiliary hopper and with an opening in it for coincidence with the discharge hole of the curved bottom of the auxiliary hopper means for moving said strip relative to the curved bottom of the auxiliary hopper with which the discharge orifice can be varied in size to effect a predetermined discharge ratio means defining a step disposed below the bottom of the hopper to uxiliar and communicating with the discharge means unloading means to effect a discharge of the material from the apparatus and rotary means disposed within said step to transport the material from the hole of the auxiliary hopper to the discharge means with which the material it is food in predetermined proportion to said means of discharge.
