Abstract

The machine is comprised of a press formed by two sligthly conical parts (15, 16) provided with retractable radial ribs (38), its rotation taking place about two axes thereof, its circular path determining a coincidence zone wherein the pressing occurs. One of the conical parts is provided with a large flange wherein the opposite part (15) fits partially. The motion is transmitted by one of the conical parts to the opposite part, by means of a right conical central gear (35, 36). It may be provided with a self-cleaning system by means of impulse nozzles. Application to the pressing of peeled oranges and other fruits.
