Abstract

The coupling head includes a substantially vertical articulation pin (14) which allows a pivoting of the plough with respect to the tractor. A balance arm (6) is enclosed and guided between two plates (9), the assembly constituting the forecarriage of the plough. The balance arm is equipped with a slot (8) and it includes blocking means making it possible to immobilise the plough in the transport position. These blocking means consist of at least one peg inserted into the orifices (17) in the plates (9) and an orifice (16) in the balance arm. This coupling head is more particularly suitable for ploughs which are provided with a wheel (7) at the rear for transportation.
