Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject solid acaricidal insecticide having a stable high insecticidal and acaricidal activity while showing a low toxicity to fishes by supporting a specified ether derivative dissolved in a 9-13C alkyl phthalate on a solid carrier. CONSTITUTION:An ether derivative [e.g. 2-(4-difluoromethoxyphenyl)-2- dimethylpropyl 3-phenoxybenzyl ether] represented by the formula (R is lower alkyl or halomethyl R<1> is H or F) is dissolved in an alkyl phthalate (e.g. di-n- nonyl phthalate or diisononyl phthalate) having a 9-13C alkyl group and the resultant solution is supported on a solid carrier. The obtained solid acaricidal insecticide enables more effective action of the active component represented by the formula and elongation of duration time, thus showing a stable and high acaricidal and insecticidal activity.
