Contenedor de material plástico particularmente para productos alimenticios, caracterizado por el hecho de que comprende un cuerpo hueco en forma de vaso (1, 11), constituido por una. pared tubular (2, 2'') y por un fondo integral con tal pared y una tapa (6, 6'') aplicable a la boca superior del cuerpo hueco y constituida por una pared transversal (7, 15), por una pared anular (8), que circunda la pared transversal y apta para insertarse con ligero forzamiento en el interior de la pared tubular del cuerpo y por una faja externa (109101)t coaxial a la pared anular citada y enlazada a ella mediante una extensión radial superior (9), presentando tal faja una parte inferior (1032, 10''b) extirpable por desgarre, que constituye un sello de garantía y conformada de modo para permitir el empeño forzado de la faja, en la posición de cierre, sobre un resalto anular (4) moldurado en forma de diente, llevado externamente por el cuerpo del contenedor, para bloquear la tapa al cuerpo y permitir la remoción sólo después de la extirpación de la parte inferior rompible de la faja, estando la tapa y el cuerpo revestidos internamente mediante un barniz apto para hacer impermeable el contenedor a los gases, vapores, líquidos, grasas y similares.
