COMPRENDE LA SELECCION PREVIA POR CRIBADO DE LAS PILAS GASTADAS Y SU CLASIFICACION POR DIAMETROS, UNA PERFORACION MECANICA DE LA ENVOLVENTE DE CHAPA DE HIERRO CONSTITUTIVA DE LA CAJA-CARCASA, PERMITIENDO LA SALIDA DEL VAPOR DE MERCURIO RESULTANTE DEL CALENTAMIENTO DE LAS PILAS A UNA TEMPERATURA DE UNOS 600GC DURANTE 10-20 MINUTOS EN EL INTERIOR DE UN HORNO, LA CONDENSACION DEL VAPOR DE MERCURIO DESTILADO Y LA OBTENCION DEL METAL LIQUIDO EN ORDEN A SU REUTILIZACION, QUEDANDO UN RESIDUO INERTE CUYA MOLIENDA Y TRATAMIENTO DE SEPARACION MAGNETICA DE SU CONTENIDO FERRICO PROPORCIONA UN RESTO DEL QUE SE SEPARA LA PLATA EVENTUALMENTE PRESENTE, QUEDANDO UNA ESCORIA INERTE E INCORPORABLE A BASURAS DEL MISMO CARACTER.
