Abstract
The clock, which may be wall-mounted or free-standing, incorporates an approximately spherical body 1 which simulates an Earth globe, defined by two caps 5 and 6, connected by means of spacers 7 for defining a narrow perimetral window at the level of its "equator", so that, via this window, the lateral surface of a movable cylinder 8 can be seen, said cylinder 8 being actuated by a clockwork mechanism 11 which is preferably electrical and of quartz, this moving cylinder having a time scale on its contour which moves with respect to a fixed arrowhead suitably established on either of the casings 5 and 6, in order to establish the relevant indication of the time, which may be supplemented with a hand 17 corresponding to the second hand.
